Day trip from Geneva, suggestions.
- Boat trip on the Leman to Ivoire, a medieval city (where it is possible to enjoy a nice meal with lake fishes). Departure 10.00 am, return, 6.00 pm (approximately 4 hours on location)
- Round trip to Chamonix and hiking. From Chamonix, it is possible to climb up the Aiguille du Midi (a very nice view on the Mont Blanc and everything around, booking necessary, 2-3 days in advance), or nice hiking in front of Mont Blanc with cable car to Brevent.
- Schedule : Departure 8.30 (GVA), Chamonix : 10.05. Return : 4.45, Arrival 6.30 PM.
- Cost bus roundtrip Geneva- Chamonix : 50 Euros
- Cable car to Aguille du midi : 50 euros
- Cable car to Brevent : 25 Euros (or less for hiking).
- Hiking and visit on the Saleve, the mountain above Geneva. A very nice view on the Mont blanc, if everything goes well). Round trip 11 Euros plus Bus. Nice restaurants on the top.
- Visit of Geneva. Worth seeing: the Cathedral and its archeological museum, the museum of the Red Cross.
- A day trip to Annecy, very nice Medieval city, possitilities of swimm in the lake. (bus, one hout, runs every other hour, cost 21 Euros roundtrip).
